About the role
Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Associate Director to lead global health economics and market access for its Biosurgery MedTech portfolio. The role will shape strategies that drive adoption, reimbursement, and commercial success of innovative surgical technologies worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Lead cross‑functional teams on market access assessments and NPI target product profiles.
- Develop and execute health technology assessment (HTA) strategies and evidence generation plans.
- Manage research activities including burden‑of‑illness studies, economic modelling, and real‑world evidence generation.
- Partner with regional HEMA and commercial leaders to engage payers, surgeons, and hospital administrators.
- Create global HEMA materials and economic tool templates for local customization.
Required profile
- Advanced degree (MS, MPH, PhD, MHA, MBA) in health economics, outcomes research or related field.
- 8‑10+ years of experience in healthcare, preferably MedTech.
- Proven ability to work in matrix environments and influence business strategy.
- Strong understanding of global reimbursement, policy trends, and surgical service delivery.

- Economic modelling and statistical analysis.
- Machine learning, artificial intelligence, and intelligent automation techniques.
