About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) seeks an unpaid adjunct Assistant Professor in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) to support the Clinical Health Programs (CHP) laboratories. This position is designed for qualified professionals who can contribute to teaching and laboratory activities while upholding UAMS’s commitment to diversity and patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of MLS coursework and laboratory sessions within the CHP program.
• Support faculty in curriculum development and assessment.
• Maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment.
• Participate in departmental meetings and academic events.

Required profile

• Eligibility to serve as an adjunct for CHP laboratories.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption.
