About the role

Cal Poly Pomona's Department of Finance, Real Estate and Law (within the College of Business Administration) is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in real estate and finance. The successful candidate must also commit strongly to research and scholarly activity, and to service of the department, college, university and community. The position is full-time, on-site, and pays $141,536-$145,536.

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in real estate and finance
• Publish in peer-reviewed journals and conduct research
• Contribute to the academic community through teaching, research and service
• Take part in departmental governance and service to the university

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Real Estate, Finance or a related field at the time of appointment
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, staff and faculty from diverse backgrounds
• Potential for teaching excellence and for publishing in peer-reviewed journals
• Preferred: evidence of student-focused experiential learning, expertise in real estate and finance, previous peer-reviewed publications in those fields, and university-level teaching experience
