Assistant General Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to support daily operations at a residential property in San Francisco. This on‑site role provides administrative coverage when the General Manager is absent, ensures strong customer service, and helps maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with tenant communication, bookkeeping, reporting, and office administration.
• Schedule and coordinate desk clerk coverage, maintain monthly schedules, and provide front‑desk relief as needed.
• Approve site expenses, support payroll, and resolve emergent issues in the GM’s absence.
• Track occupancy, process invoices, and support leasing, move‑ins, and move‑outs.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, administration, or property support.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Salesforce (preferred).
