About the role
The Office of Admissions at Southeastern Louisiana University seeks an Assistant Director of Recruitment to lead its admissions counseling team. Reporting to the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Communications, this role shapes recruitment strategy and supports key enrollment initiatives across campus.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the team of Admissions Counselors, setting goals and objectives for recruitment initiatives.
- Collaborate with campus partners to develop priorities, timelines, and procedures for the Dual Enrollment Program, Connect to Success programs, and freshman success projects.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Experience working in higher education, preferably in student recruiting, admissions, or registrar functions.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Slate, Workday, and PeopleSoft student information systems.
- Ability to adapt to changing technology and communicate effectively with internal and external higher‑education stakeholders.
