Assistant Construction Superintendent

About the role

Michilli Inc. is seeking an Assistant Construction Superintendent to support the day‑to‑day management of luxury retail, high‑end residential, and commercial projects. The role works closely with site superintendents and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee physical construction activities from award to project completion.
• Assist in managing subcontractors, tracking performance and schedule adherence.
• Address on‑site project questions and coordinate daily project housekeeping and safety.
• Prepare and update daily reports, photo reports, job diaries, and other required documentation.
• Maintain Procore data on a daily basis.
• Facilitate toolbox meetings and communicate field progress to the project team.
• Enforce PPE usage and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Conduct quality control inspections and prepare punch lists for project close‑out.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of related construction experience or an equivalent mix of education and training.
• Experience working for a subcontractor (e.g., carpentry) or in a foreman role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings, and plans.
• Knowledge of legal requirements and quality building practices.

Required skills

• OSHA 30‑hour safety certification (or OSHA 10‑hour).
• Proficiency with Procore construction management software (preferred).
