Field Engineer / Field Geologist

About the role

ConeTec is seeking a versatile Field Engineer or Field Geologist to join its growing North‑American team. You will support commercial development, environmental, construction and infrastructure projects by delivering high‑quality site investigations and geotechnical testing.

Key responsibilities

• Operate high‑resolution site‑characterization tools, SCPTu, VST, MASW and other geophysical instruments safely and efficiently.
• Plan and execute mobilization and demobilization logistics for equipment in remote or hard‑to‑access locations.
• Perform routine maintenance on testing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collect, log and transmit field data, samples, notes and photographs to engineers or clients for analysis.
• Prepare daily and final reports summarizing investigation results.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication abilities.
• Problem‑solving mindset with flexibility to adapt to changing project demands.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work onsite in varied environments.
