Assembly & Test Technician II – 2nd Shift

About the role

Moog is seeking an Assembly & Test (A&T) Technician II to join its Military Aircraft Group on the 2nd shift. The role is based onsite in Elma, New York, supporting hydraulic component production, repair, and overhaul.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic assembly, testing, and process‑based operations on complex components and systems.
• Utilize mechanical and electronic measurement equipment, specialized fixtures, tooling, gauging, and torque mechanisms to meet build specifications.
• Interpret drawings, work instructions, and parts lists to produce accurate documentation of performance results.
• Set up and execute operational tests on high‑precision hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test stands.
• Diagnose test failures, assess hardware condition, and recommend rework or configuration changes.
• Handle day‑to‑day administrative tasks supporting overall operations and occasional off‑shift work to meet delivery schedules.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow verbal, written, and computer instructions in English.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Minimum three years of experience in a related technical field.
