Architect – Factory Architecture

About the role

Tesla GigaTexas is seeking an architect to join its Factory Architecture Team in Austin. The role involves designing cutting‑edge, high‑tech production spaces that support Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

Key responsibilities

• Perform architectural assignments with general direction and limited supervision.
• Develop design solutions for projects of varying size and scope.
• Produce design drawings, presentation drawings, and digital models to support design teams.
• Research products and materials and review existing and under‑construction projects to inform documentation.
• Contribute to project quality, schedule, and budget performance.
• Assist with construction administration and ensure design documents meet building and accessibility codes.

Required profile

• NCARB‑accredited degree in Architecture with 5–15 years of commercial experience.
• Actively pursuing state registration; professional registration preferred.
• Highly motivated, team‑oriented individual seeking increased responsibility.
• Well‑organized, detail‑oriented with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with BIM coordination and MEPFP coordination.
• Ability to detail and execute construction documents with minimal supervision.
