About the role

Infosys is seeking an API Test Consultant to join its Financial Services unit. The role involves working on digital transformation projects for banking, wealth management, and insurance clients across multiple US locations.

Key responsibilities

• Document and contribute to business requirements during elicitation.
• Facilitate software design discussions and capture design decisions.
• Develop, code, and integrate new features while ensuring system stability.
• Perform code reviews, update codebases, and maintain repositories.
• Design and execute test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive measures.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Skill in translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Passion for quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Automated testing using Selenium with Java.
• API testing with RestAssured.
• Experience in API testing concepts and tools.
