Analyst, Front Office Support

About the role

As an Analyst for Front Office Support, you will support global Sales and Trading desks through timely trade lifecycle management and the efficient resolution of trade‑related queries and issues. Based within Markets COO, you will support activities across ANZ Banking Group and ANZ Securities Incorporated, working across Global Markets asset classes including FX, Rates, Credit, Money Markets and Commodities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage post‑trade lifecycle activities to ensure accurate trade capture, reporting and adherence to operational controls.
• Monitor, investigate and resolve trade‑related queries and exceptions in partnership with Sales, Trading and support teams.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements, workflow improvements, booking model changes and new product initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Front Office, Operations and enablement functions to identify and resolve business issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance client service, reduce operational risk and improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Knowledge of Global Markets products, particularly FX, Rates, Credit, and Money Markets, and an understanding of trade lifecycle processes.
• Strong knowledge of XVA concepts and associated trade lifecycle processes.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to analyse complex datasets and develop reporting solutions.
• Proven ability to build and enhance Excel/VBA tools to support business processes, reporting and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive, organised approach to competing priorities.
• Experience supporting Front Office, Middle Office or Markets Operations environments.
