Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, customer‑focused Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist to manage time‑critical, temperature‑sensitive shipments within our healthcare and life‑sciences network. You will ensure shipments comply with all regulations, monitor them end‑to‑end, and resolve exceptions quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and track healthcare and life‑sciences shipments through active alarm management and milestone verification.
• Ensure all time‑ and temperature‑sensitive shipments remain compliant throughout transit.
• Communicate with airlines, carriers, and service partners to resolve issues and maintain service standards.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, CRMs, and Key Account Managers to maximize client satisfaction.
• Identify, investigate, and escalate discrepancies or service disruptions, keeping management and customers informed.
• Manage inbound bookings and operational inquiries via shared mailboxes and phone.
• Maintain accurate shipment documentation in line with country regulations, GDP, and ISO requirements.
• Support quality‑control processes by identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
• Utilize internal systems (Quick Enterprise, QuickTrac) to ensure operational accuracy.
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in air courier, freight forwarding, or logistics operations (healthcare or cold‑chain preferred).
• Strong understanding of time‑critical, temperature‑controlled, or biopharmaceutical shipments.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics operating systems; excellent written and verbal English.
• Ability to work under pressure with flexible off‑hours availability (evenings or holidays).
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without visa sponsorship.
