About the role
Join one of the top five Amazon sellers in the United States as the Vice President of Supply Chain & Operations. Based in Symphony Towers, San Diego, you will own the end‑to‑end supply chain, driving strategy, execution, and growth for a fast‑moving eCommerce business.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the complete supply chain lifecycle—from procurement and inbound logistics to warehousing, inventory deployment, and fulfillment.
- Define long‑term supply chain and operations strategy aligned with company growth, margin, and cash‑flow goals.
- Manage core inventory KPIs such as Days of Inventory, In‑Stock Rate, Overstock Rate, Inventory Turns, and Warehouse Productivity.
- Oversee DFW warehouse operations, including labor planning, throughput, safety, inventory accuracy, and cost control.
- Develop procurement strategy, negotiate with suppliers, and manage contracts across the vendor base.
- Own supply chain and warehouse budgets, ensuring profitability and working‑capital targets are met.
- Coordinate cross‑functional alignment with Brand Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Commercial leadership.
- Maintain senior external relationships with Amazon/FBA and third‑party logistics partners.
- Build, mentor, and scale high‑performing teams across Supply Chain, Procurement, and Warehouse Operations.
Required profile
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, and warehouse operations with executive‑level leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Deep experience managing large‑scale warehouse operations and distributed inventory environments.
- Proven P&L or working‑capital ownership with measurable impact on margin and efficiency.
- Executive presence and ability to influence C‑suite stakeholders and strategic partners.
- Builder’s mindset with a track record of scaling teams and establishing lasting operational infrastructure.
- Willingness to travel regularly to DFW (approximately 25%).
