AI/ML Engineer – Sunnyvale

About the role

Infosys is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join its Engineering unit in Sunnyvale, CA. You will work within a data‑first, product‑centric environment, leveraging advanced AI, machine learning and predictive analytics to accelerate delivery and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements during elicitation phases.
• Facilitate design discussions, capture decisions and guide the technical team.
• Develop, code, and integrate new features while ensuring system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain repositories, and implement test strategies.
• Analyze test results, coordinate bug fixes, and uphold software quality standards.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.
• Maintain comprehensive records of code changes, testing techniques, and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirements to implementation.
• Experience translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Hands‑on coding passion and proactive testing and troubleshooting approach.
• Comfort working with cross‑functional teams on software integration.
