AI Product Director

About the role

We are seeking an AI Product Director to lead the next phase of AI‑driven growth for a family‑owned fintech that already runs production AI agents in underwriting and credit decisioning. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, the role starts remotely and will transition to a hybrid model as the office opens.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple AI transformation programmes, overseeing 2‑3 concurrent initiatives.
• Manage a team of two AI Product Managers and coordinate with business SMEs to map and redesign workflows.
• Define product strategy, write design briefs, and guide engineering teams from concept to production.
• Collaborate with external partners and ensure AI solutions deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering 0‑1 AI products that reshape business processes.
• Product leadership in a scaling fintech or technology company.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders and subject‑matter experts.
• Track record of shipping production AI products with clear revenue or efficiency impact.

Required skills

• Experience owning both product strategy and execution.
• Ability to write detailed product specifications and work closely with engineering.
• Knowledge of AI solution design and architecture.
