Adult Therapist – Older Adults Programs

About the role

The organization seeks an experienced therapist to provide direct and indirect services to older adult clients, including counseling, crisis intervention, and community outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect client services, including individual and group counseling.
• Assess clients' psychosocial needs, develop and coordinate service plans, and deliver 50% of services in the field.
• Transport clients to and from services, intervene in crises, and connect clients with peer support and recovery resources.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, staff and clinical meetings, and community meetings.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related behavioral science.
• Current ACSW registration (or equivalent) and valid California driver’s license.
• Minimum two years of behavioral health experience with adults or older adults, knowledge of DSM‑5.
• Reliable personal transportation for field visits.

Required skills

• Case management and service‑plan development.
• Crisis intervention and assessment.
• Knowledge of DSM‑5 diagnostic criteria.
