Adjunct Instructor – Dual Achievement Program (Part-Time)

About the role

The Dual Achievement Program at Atlanta Technical College seeks a part‑time Adjunct Instructor to teach high‑school level subjects. This role supports both secondary and post‑secondary learners, offering flexible delivery in face‑to‑face, online, or hybrid formats.

Key responsibilities

• Manage face‑to‑face, online or hybrid classes for high‑school subjects such as Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, Health and Physical Education.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to help them meet learning objectives.
• Plan, organize, and attend staff development sessions, trainings, and conferences.
• Collaborate with the program director and college teams to advance the Dual Achievement Program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated mastery of 9‑12 grade subject areas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field and at least two years of teaching experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers and online instructional delivery platforms.
• Ability to deliver instruction in face‑to‑face, virtual, or hybrid formats.
