About the role
The Dual Achievement Program at Atlanta Technical College seeks a part‑time Adjunct Instructor to teach high‑school level subjects. This role supports both secondary and post‑secondary learners, offering flexible delivery in face‑to‑face, online, or hybrid formats.
Key responsibilities
- Manage face‑to‑face, online or hybrid classes for high‑school subjects such as Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, Health and Physical Education.
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to help them meet learning objectives.
- Plan, organize, and attend staff development sessions, trainings, and conferences.
- Collaborate with the program director and college teams to advance the Dual Achievement Program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated mastery of 9‑12 grade subject areas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field and at least two years of teaching experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with computers and online instructional delivery platforms.
- Ability to deliver instruction in face‑to‑face, virtual, or hybrid formats.
