Accounts Payable Analyst

About the role

Spotify’s Finance team is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to support Procure‑to‑Pay operations across North America. You will help keep financial records accurate while driving process improvements and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices, payments and vendor management throughout the PTP cycle.
• Support month‑end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain sub‑ledger accuracy and update vendor master data.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Treasury and Financial Engineering to resolve issues and enhance processes.
• Communicate professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and implement automation or AI solutions to increase efficiency and scalability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
• Proven ability to work with large data sets and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality financial data.
• Curiosity for process improvement and comfort with change.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
