Access Coordinator III – Orthopedics/HSC/OP Therapy

About the role

The Access Coordinator III supports patient access for orthopedics, health services center (HSC) and outpatient therapy (OP) departments at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. This position ensures smooth scheduling, eligibility verification, and coordination of services for patients and providers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments and referrals for orthopedics, HSC and OP therapy services.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Maintain accurate access records and update internal tracking systems.
• Communicate with clinical staff, patients and external partners to resolve access issues.

Required profile

• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
