1st Grade Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated 1st Grade Teacher to join our school community on a full‑time basis. The position involves delivering the 1st grade curriculum, maintaining a safe and engaging classroom environment, and collaborating with school leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lessons for 1st grade students in accordance with the district curriculum.
• Manage classroom activities during a 7.5‑hour workday (7:45 am – 3:15 pm).
• Assess student progress and maintain records throughout the 10‑month school year (approximately 198 days).
• Communicate regularly with the principal and support staff regarding student needs and school initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) as specified in the detailed job description.
• Commitment to a full‑time schedule for the entire academic year.
• Ability to work on‑site in a school setting.
