Vice President, Merchandising

About the role

Rothy’s is seeking a strategic, consumer‑obsessed Vice President of Merchandising to lead its end‑to‑end merchandising organization across Women’s, Men’s, Kids and Accessories. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will set multi‑year category and channel vision, build profitable assortments, and coach a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute 3‑year portfolio growth strategies for all categories and channels.
• Set long‑range merchandising vision aligning brand positioning, consumer insight and financial goals.
• Build annual and seasonal assortment strategies for retail, e‑commerce and wholesale.
• Own topline and bottom‑line performance, guiding revenue, margin, inventory health and in‑season optimization.
• Partner with Design, Planning and Product Development to innovate processes and support growth.
• Recruit, develop and coach a world‑class team of merchants.
• Represent Merchandising in cross‑functional and executive planning discussions.

Required skills

• 10+ years merchandising experience in footwear, accessories or fashion.
• Proven track record of building and executing merchandising strategies at scale.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insight.
• Experience partnering cross‑functionally with Design, Planning and Product Development.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with product lifecycle management tools and Google Suite (Sheets, Slides).
