Vascular Surgeon – Board Certified/Eligible

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join a busy, community‑based practice in Covington, Louisiana. The position offers a blend of open and endovascular procedures within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform open vascular surgeries such as aorta, femoral and popliteal bypasses.
• Conduct endovascular interventions including carotid endarterectomy and venous procedures.
• Manage wound exploration, debridement, and amputations.
• Participate in weekly call rotation, clinic duties, and multidisciplinary case conferences.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative, community‑practice setting.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care and program development.

Required skills

• Open vascular surgery procedures.
• Endovascular techniques.
• Proficiency with the EPIC medical record platform.
