Spanish Speaker Caregiver

About the role

One You Love Homecare is seeking compassionate Spanish‑speaking caregivers to provide non‑medical in‑home support to seniors and recovering clients in the Houston area. You will help improve clients' quality of life through personalized, reliable care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, and personal grooming.
• Provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and errands.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Support mobility inside the home and during outings (medical appointments, walks, shopping).
• Shop for clients, keep their environment organized, and document daily tasks accurately.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and follow the care plan set by the supervising nurse.
• Report any unusual changes in client behavior or condition immediately.
• Offer companionship and encourage social interaction to enhance well‑being.

Required profile

• Strong service orientation and desire to work in an individualized setting.
• Ability to perform all essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation available daily.
• Compassionate, empathetic attitude with a high sense of responsibility.
• Flexibility for day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Minimum one year of experience in health care, hospitality, or home‑care.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear understanding of care plans and associated tasks.

Required skills

• Experience operating durable medical equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, hospital beds, and lifts (e.g., Hoyer Lift).
