Caregiver – Home Care (Non‑Medical)

About the role

One You Love Homecare is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non‑medical support to clients in their homes. You will help individuals maintain independence, dignity, and a high quality of life through personalized assistance and companionship.

Key responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and hygiene.
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and remind clients to take medication.
• Provide safe transportation to appointments and community activities.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean environment.
• Observe infection‑control protocols and follow each client’s care plan.
• Clock in/out, document all tasks, and report any changes in client condition.

Required profile

• Prior caregiving or home‑care experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance if required for client transport.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lb and assist with client transfers.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

Required skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Basic knowledge of infection‑control and safety procedures.

What we offer

• Hourly pay of $17.50 – $18.50.
