Service Technician – The Buckley

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician to join our team at The Buckley, a Greystar‑managed community in Plano, Texas. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in accordance with safety standards and code requirements.
• Conduct preventative maintenance across the property to keep systems operating efficiently.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors and contractors.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• Experience in residential or commercial property maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and building codes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
