Senior User Experience Researcher – Platform

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a senior User Experience Researcher to join its Platform research team. You will lead end‑to‑end research that informs the design of the API, SDKs, console and other tools that developers and enterprises use to build on Claude.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Platform leaders to define the research agenda about developers, teams, and enterprises building on Claude.
• Design and execute both qualitative and quantitative studies independently, from scoping to reporting.
• Study a broad spectrum of users, including individual developers, product teams, administrators, and buyers.
• Synthesize findings and communicate them to product managers, designers, and engineers to influence product decisions.
• Build research tooling and infrastructure, leveraging Claude heavily and inventing new methods when existing ones do not fit.
• Maintain a shared understanding of users across the organization to enable autonomous decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven industry experience conducting UX research end‑to‑end, including scoping, designing, running, and reporting studies.
• Expertise in mixed‑methods research, comfortable interviewing technical users and analyzing quantitative data.
• Ability to work autonomously, set research priorities, and drive impact across fast‑moving technical teams.
