Senior NPI Program Manager – ECU

About the role

Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior NPI Program Manager to lead the Manufacturing ECU team across New Product Introduction, ramp, and sustaining activities. The role involves driving quality improvements, managing contract manufacturers, and ensuring successful product launches in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Manufacturing ECU team for all NPI, ramp, and sustaining activities.
• Manage contract manufacturer operations for engineering builds and production.
• Track and resolve open operational issues from engineering builds.
• Own quality improvements, create yield bridges, and lead DFx and design reviews.
• Communicate NPI status to management and collaborate with global supply chain, SQE, and engineering.
• Plan capacity, equipment, and budget; ensure all processes are documented and released.
• Travel up to 20% as required.

Required profile

• 10+ years experience in electronics, with at least 5 years in NPI.
• Previous Asian contract‑manufacturer program management experience, including on‑site support.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑changing environments and across cultures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Required skills

• NPI program management in engineering or operations.
• Experience with Engineering Change Orders (ECO), E&O analysis, and material planning.
• Deep understanding of BOM structures and change processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ERP and bug‑tracking/ECO/BOM systems (e.g., NetSuite, Jira, Arena).
