About the role
The Senior Director HR Business Partner will shape talent strategies that drive business success, foster a high‑performance culture, and enable organizational agility across global commercial teams. Reporting to senior leadership, this role operates at the enterprise level, influencing multiple business units in a fast‑paced biotech/pharma environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute talent strategies, succession planning, and career development programs that support growth and leadership readiness.
- Partner with senior leaders across Global, U.S., and International Commercial teams to translate business priorities into organizational and talent implications.
- Lead business transformation initiatives, implementing new operating models and ways of working.
- Drive organizational effectiveness, culture change, and management development initiatives.
- Develop and implement global HR strategies with enterprise‑wide impact.
- Create strategic workforce plans, including capability and long‑term talent planning for development, manufacturing, and commercial functions.
- Leverage data, analytics, and storytelling to influence decision‑making and support business strategy.
Required profile
- Minimum 12 years of progressive HR Business Partner experience in life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical organizations.
- Proven experience supporting commercial or customer‑facing functions.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders across multiple functions in complex, fast‑paced environments.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced education is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaborative skills.
- Strategic thinker with business acumen and disciplined project‑management capabilities.
- Agile, resilient, and able to make sound decisions under pressure.
