About the role

The Miami VA Healthcare System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in its Emergency Department. The position supports the delivery of quality patient care and contributes to the growth of the VA academic hospital program.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Assist in achieving quality care standards.
• Support the development and growth of the VA academic hospital program.

Required profile

• Proficiency in basic written and spoken English.
• Graduate of a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE, or equivalent foreign accreditation with validated equivalency.
• Current, full, active, unrestricted registration as a professional nurse in a U.S. state, territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
• Eligibility for Graduate Nurse Technician appointment if licensure is pending, per VA guidelines.
