Receptionist 3 – Front Desk Specialist (Contract)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Receptionist 3 to be the first point of contact for visitors, employees and vendors in our Atlanta office. This contract role focuses on delivering a high‑touch, hospitality‑driven experience while supporting day‑to‑day administrative and security tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome visitors, clients, and staff with a courteous, experienced presence that reflects a high standard of service.
- Manage the front desk throughout the workday and serve as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, directions, and office support needs.
- Coordinate visitor check‑in procedures, maintain accurate records, and ensure all registrations meet site expectations.
- Connect guests, employees, and vendors with the appropriate internal contacts and onsite resources.
- Support badge administration by issuing access credentials, monitoring inventory, and assisting with onboarding and off‑boarding tracking.
- Maintain organized logs for parking, vehicle activity, vendor visits, and other reception‑related documentation using designated systems.
- Contribute to workplace safety by following access‑control practices and assisting with emergency and security procedures.
- Provide arrival and onsite support for meetings or events to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Participate in service reviews or audits and uphold hospitality standards through consistent execution.
Required profile
- Prior experience in reception, hospitality, concierge, or a similar customer‑facing position.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with confidence interacting with guests, employees, vendors, and business partners.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering a high‑touch service experience with warmth and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain at the front desk for most of the day while managing multiple requests in an organized manner.
- Experience handling visitor logs, badge processes, and security‑related procedures.
- Comfort using workplace technology for data entry, reporting, dashboards, and ticketing or building support systems.
- Dependable time‑management skills and adherence to established procedures, protocols, and service standards.
- Fluency in English and the ability to present information clearly in person, by phone, and in writing.
