Production Worker (Cut Floor & Packaging)

About the role

Join the Redwood Farms Meat Processors team as a Production Worker focused on cut‑floor and packaging operations. You will work on a fast‑paced meat processing line, ensuring products are trimmed, packaged, and prepared to meet customer specifications and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Cut, debone, trim, and remove undesirable material from meat using knives and hooks; maintain and sanitize tools.
• Prepare product flow for laser cutters and other sorting equipment.
• Fold and assemble cardboard boxes, monitor inventory, and inform shipping when additional boxes are needed.
• Perform final product inspections, removing any missed material.
• Operate vacuum sealers, box sealers, and manually wrap products as required.
• Weigh packed boxes, edit and print labels according to specifications.
• Palletize, organize, and stage finished goods for shipping.
• Communicate with USDA inspectors regarding product approval.
• Report equipment concerns to plant maintenance and keep leadership informed of issues.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and food‑safety policies and maintain a clean work area.

Required profile

• Reliable on‑site attendance and ability to work flexible shifts.
• Willingness to cross‑train between cut‑floor and packaging tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Effective communication with team members and inspectors.
