About the role
Beaufort Memorial Hospital is seeking a board‑certified Primary Care Physician to join its expanding primary care team. The physician will deliver high‑quality diagnostic and treatment services to patients in a coastal, fast‑growing setting.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in the clinic, adhering to state and national standards.
- Prescribe appropriate medications, health regimens, and lifestyle adjustments.
- Collaborate with specialists to explore complex health conditions.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure positive patient experiences.
Required profile
- MD or DO with successful completion of an accredited residency.
- Board certification in primary care or a related field.
- Valid, unrestricted South Carolina medical license, DEA, and SC Controlled Substance licenses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Experience providing primary care and diagnostic services in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in prescribing medications and treatment plans.
- Ability to collaborate with specialists and healthcare teams.
