Pediatric Nurse Anesthetist

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia care for pediatric patients in its Anesthesiology department. This full‑time, on‑site position supports surgical teams and ensures safe, high‑quality anesthesia services for children.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and manage anesthesia for pediatric surgical cases.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff to develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and adjust anesthetic delivery throughout procedures.
• Document anesthesia records accurately and comply with regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Current RN license and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification.
• Experience in pediatric anesthesia preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on day one of employment.
