Patient Scheduler – Remote (Pacific Time Zone)

About the role

Option Care Health, the nation’s largest home infusion provider, is seeking a Patient Scheduler to coordinate clinical staff visits for patients across the United States. This fully remote position requires the incumbent to live in the Pacific Time Zone and to work closely with nursing, pharmacy and warehouse teams to ensure timely and appropriate patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange appropriate staffing for all patient care visits, including Option Care Nursing, subcontracted nursing and network nursing.
• Coordinate, monitor and schedule patient care across all clinical areas.
• Contact patients and clinicians to schedule and confirm deliveries and visits.
• Interpret physician orders and schedule services accordingly.
• Run reports and complete tasks in the company’s scheduling platforms.
• Align scheduling needs with staffing availability and keep management informed of staffing requirements.
• Facilitate patient complaints or issues by directing them to the appropriate department.

Required profile

• Residency in the Pacific Time Zone.
• Ability to work remotely with reliable internet access.
• Experience scheduling clinical or healthcare staff.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with patients, clinicians and internal teams.
