Part‑Time Lecturer – Applied Machine Intelligence

About the role

The College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University seeks a part‑time lecturer to teach Applied Machine Intelligence courses on the Miami campus. The role focuses on delivering applied AI education to graduate‑level students.

Key responsibilities

• Teach core and specialized AI courses, including Applied Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and emerging topics such as Generative AI and Reinforcement Learning.
• Develop curriculum and experiential learning projects that address real‑world business and technical challenges.
• Mentor and support a diverse, global student population, both in‑person and online.

Required profile

• Terminal degree (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience implementing AI/ML solutions in industry.
• Demonstrated teaching or training experience at the graduate level, preferably with adult learners.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with modern AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit‑learn.
