Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) – Entry Level

About the role

We are seeking an entry‑level Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join our End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) team. The RN will provide and coordinate competent care for patients undergoing hemodialysis, ensuring safe treatment delivery and supporting patient education.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyze and document patient data before, during and after hemodialysis sessions.
• Assess patient and family learning needs and deliver initial and ongoing education.
• Administer prescribed medications and document justification and effectiveness.
• Coordinate daily hemodialysis therapy with direct and ancillary staff, including task delegation.
• Ensure proper laboratory specimen collection, processing and shipping.
• Participate in emergency response measures and quality‑improvement activities.
• Serve as a resource for the health‑care team and assist in staff training and orientation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date nursing assessments and care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Current RN licensure in the United States.
• Entry‑level designation (CAP 1) or willingness to complete Clinical Advancement Program requirements.
• Ability to work under supervision of a nurse manager or clinical educator.
• Strong communication skills for patient and family education.
