Neuroscience Sales Specialist

About the role

The Neuroscience Sales Specialist will drive sales of innovative neuropsychiatric therapies in the Madison, WI territory, including Southwest Wisconsin. The role involves building relationships with healthcare professionals and mental health community centers, both in‑person and virtually, to meet or exceed sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales forecasts by calling on HCP offices and mental health centers, customizing discussions to customer needs while adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Develop and execute local strategic and tactical plans, allocate resources, and manage budgets and expenses effectively.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the local market, practice structures, and key influencers, sharing insights with internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Regional Business Manager and other sales specialists to develop business plans and capitalize on formulary approvals.
• Provide accurate administrative reporting of call data, sample usage, and expense reports.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of healthcare sales or B2B sales experience; three or more years in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Strong passion for improving patient lives, high integrity, and adherence to compliance policies.
• Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with excellent decision‑making and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to virtual/telemedicine environments and analyze performance data to identify opportunities.
