Middle School Alliance Site Coordinator

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a solutions‑driven coordinator to manage day‑to‑day operations of its Middle School Alliance (MSA) Out‑of‑School Time (OST) program at assigned middle‑school sites. The role ensures smooth logistics, effective communication, and high‑quality delivery of programming for students and families.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily MSA site operations, including scheduling, room allocation, meal distribution, transportation, dismissal procedures, and site transitions.
• Coordinate program providers and site‑based staff to align with school schedules and MSA priorities.
• Monitor site activities to ensure consistent, efficient, and faithful implementation of programming.
• Serve as primary point of contact for school staff, providers, transportation, security, and MSA leadership.
• Troubleshoot routine operational challenges and escalate non‑routine issues to leadership.
• Assist with site calendars, events, special activities, and school‑based initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating educational or out‑of‑school programs.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple logistics simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with school personnel, providers, volunteers, and families.
• Ability to work independently under clear procedures and follow established protocols.
