About the role

LinkedIn is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to sell Talent & Learning solutions to mid‑size enterprises. The position is hybrid, with work split between home and a LinkedIn office in New York, San Francisco or Chicago, depending on business needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Prospect relentlessly to build a robust pipeline of mid‑market accounts.
  • Create accurate forecasts and maintain transparent pipeline status with management.
  • Close new business consistently at or above quota.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan and share competitive insights.
  • Coach colleagues, contribute best‑practice documentation, and provide market feedback to product and marketing teams.
  • Identify and solve problems beyond the immediate sales scope, taking on additional initiatives as needed.

Required profile

  • 4+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in SaaS or recruiting solutions.
  • Experience with recruiting, HR software, or talent‑media platforms.
  • Strong negotiation, forecasting and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
  • Demonstrated success managing high‑level business in an evangelist sales environment.
