Make Ready Specialist – Siena Apartments

About the role

We are looking for a Make Ready Specialist to prepare vacant apartments at Siena Apartments for new residents. The role involves performing technical and mechanical tasks to ensure each unit meets Greystar’s quality standards and is market‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements on vacant units following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers as required.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and perform repairs or replacements.
• Apply touch‑up paint to vacant and occupied units under supervisor direction.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, including trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Document completion of the make‑ready checklist and related maintenance records promptly.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings and complete OSHA training.
• Provide courteous service to residents, answer questions and address maintenance complaints efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and report incidents promptly.
