Maintenance Technician – Revela

About the role

Greystar is seeking an entry‑level Maintenance Technician to support the Revela property in Mountain View. You will ensure that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with relatable experience in building or property maintenance.
• Willingness to work weekends and provide on‑call coverage.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, work orders and inventory protocols.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation and quality of repairs.
