Maintenance Technician – ACE Business

About the role

AmeriGas is seeking an energetic Maintenance Technician to support its ACE business. The role involves inspecting, maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment and building systems to ensure reliable propane operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on ACE equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, 3‑phase electrical components and PLC controls.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate service records.
• Assist in training staff on proper equipment handling and safety procedures.
• Travel between sites as needed to support multiple locations.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of industrial maintenance experience.
• Hands‑on experience with plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer proficiency, including typing and use of web‑based programs.

Required skills

• Industrial preventive maintenance practices.
• Industrial repair/general maintenance.
• 3‑phase electrical knowledge.
• Electric, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical troubleshooting.
• PLC troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Basic welding.
• Basic carpentry.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
