Maintenance Supervisor – Property Management

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas of a residential community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. Reporting to the property management team, you will lead a crew of maintenance technicians and coordinate daily upkeep and emergency repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues and perform repairs in accordance with safety codes and company policies.
• Conduct routine inspections of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural components to prevent failures.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch‑lists and ensuring units are prepared for new tenants.
• Manage on‑call rotation and ensure timely response to after‑hours emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, inventory and equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential property maintenance or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety regulations and code compliance.
• Ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks and communicate effectively with residents and management.
