Lifestyle Assistant

About the role

The Lifestyle Assistant supports Lifespace’s mission to create vibrant, engaging communities for senior residents. Working closely with the Lifestyle Director, you will plan, lead, and promote daily activities that enrich residents’ lives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and motivate residents to participate in scheduled daily activities.
• Maintain accurate records of resident interaction and participation.
• Build one‑on‑one relationships with residents to understand their interests.
• Assist the Lifestyle Director in designing, coordinating, and implementing themed programs and celebrations.
• Organize group outings and trips for residents.
• Create and update the monthly event calendar.
• Communicate program details through newsletters, in‑house TV, postings, mailings, and electronic messaging.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience preferred, especially in recreational or senior‑living settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
