Leasing Professional (Lease-Up) – US Fairgrounds

About the role

The Leasing Professional (Lease‑Up) will drive marketing, leasing and renewal activities for the US Fairgrounds community, ensuring occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease and move‑in packages, coordinate smooth resident move‑ins and lease signings.
• Inspect units before move‑in, confirm readiness and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Proven ability to perform sales and leasing activities to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Strong knowledge of local market conditions and competitor activity.
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.
