About the role
The Key Account Manager will drive sales and product mix growth for Irresistible Foods Group consumer brands (King’s Hawaiian, Grillo’s Pickles, Killer Brownie) across major Canadian retailers. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will develop strategic relationships, execute trade promotions, and collaborate with internal teams to expand distribution.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute business plans and sales strategies for Canadian key accounts.
- Build and maintain long‑term, value‑creating relationships with high‑volume customers.
- Lead planning and implementation of trade promotions within approved limits.
- Analyze market potential, identify problems and opportunities, and create action plans.
- Forecast monthly sales for existing and new products and promotions.
- Assess effectiveness of trade and omni‑channel programs.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Marketing, and other functions to ensure cohesive relationships.
- Manage Market Development Funds to stay within budget while achieving sales targets.
Required profile
- Proven experience developing strategic relationships with category managers, directors, and senior executives.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret market data and drive business decisions.
- Ability to work independently on routine decisions and seek guidance for non‑routine matters.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
