Interior Design Job Captain – Hospitality

About the role

Bespoke Careers is recruiting a detail-oriented Interior Design Job Captain for a hospitality interior design firm in Naples, Florida. The role supports the delivery of high-end interior design projects by working closely with project leadership and the design team to turn creative concepts into coordinated drawings, finish specifications and clear project documentation. It is a full-time, on-site position within a team of about 20 people.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare construction documents: organize and develop drawing sets including space plans, floor finish plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and details under project leadership.
• Maintain CAD and Revit standards for drawing production, file naming, data storage, documentation and layouts.
• Collaborate with designers on finish specifications, materials documentation and other deliverables.
• Work with architects, engineers and specialty consultants to share information, issue progress sets, resolve coordination items and track follow-up.
• Prepare rendered views, color-enhanced drawings and other presentation materials.
• Keep correspondence, product data, finish information and project resources organized.
• Attend client and project meetings, document decisions and action items, and balance multiple assignments on schedule.

Required profile

• Associate or bachelor's degree in drafting, interior design, architecture or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• At least four years of relevant full-time professional experience.
• Portfolio and résumé showing strong technical skills and design capabilities.
• Experience preparing construction documentation, coordinating drawing sets and documenting materials and finishes.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and ability to collaborate and meet deadlines.
