Interim Service Supervisor for Marlowe Palomar Heights

About the role

The Interim Service Supervisor will oversee technical and mechanical maintenance for the Marlowe Palomar Heights community, ensuring that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This full‑time onsite position works Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑6 pm, with flexibility based on business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs following company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance execution, and final inspections.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and upkeep of grounds, building exteriors, interiors, breezeways, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Conduct periodic inspections of service team work and contractor performance, providing corrective action plans as needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, collaborating with the Community Manager to ensure availability.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of maintenance supervision experience in a residential or property‑management setting.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and code compliance.
• Ability to prioritize work orders, manage vendors, and lead a service team effectively.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
