Independent SURTASS Quality Assurance Analyst

About the role

Amentum is seeking an Independent SURTASS Quality Assurance Analyst, working from home in Virginia Beach, VA, for the SURTASS program. The analyst takes part in planning, executing and reporting on new and existing SURTASS operations, reports to the Program Manager and has a direct reporting path to the Government (Contracting Officer, Technical Lead, Functional Managers). The role covers continuous process improvement, risk management, organizational redesign, change management and performance measures.

Key responsibilities

• Document adherence and compliance to internal and external documents, references and requirements
• Develop policies and procedures supporting contract execution in line with the SURTASS Statement of Work
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to drive process improvement
• Track Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) delivery and compliance
• Track performance against the Quality Review Program (QRP)
• Track and help complete corrective actions from audits, surveillance and RCA findings

Required profile

• Three years of experience conducting root cause analysis
• Five years of experience conducting audits and surveillance
• Excellent communication skills and ability to act as a task lead when required
• Secret or higher security clearance

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification
• Root cause analysis and audit/surveillance experience
