About the role
The Help Desk Technician (Level 1) provides first‑line technical assistance to end users in a corporate environment. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, mobile, and peripheral devices while ensuring assets are accurately tracked.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals.
- Provide first‑line support for hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot failures, apply OS patches, upgrades, and security updates.
- Perform imaging and deployment of standardized desktop and laptop environments.
- Maintain physical and logical inventory of PC assets and manage printer supplies.
- Collaborate with Network Administrators, IT Analysts, and third‑party vendors to resolve escalated issues.
- Document support activities, asset changes, and resolutions.
Required profile
- Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of Level I IT support experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
